The equipment needed to convert Waste or virgin vegetable oil to Biodiesel is pretty straight forward. 

It can have as many bells and whistles as you want, or be "bare bones".  The end result is the same, but adding some automation such as timers can cut down on the hands on time.

This reactor is made out of a 50 gallon electric hot water heater.  The upper element has been removed and only the lower one is utilized.
